Tehran reports attacking a US naval base in Manama, as Iran launched strikes throughout the Middle East in response for a "massive" and continuing assault targeting the nation by the United States and Israeli forces.

Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated it was attacking US bases and assets as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in response for the strikes on the Islamic Republic carried out by the United States and its ally Israel on Saturday morning.
That initial attack - launched at around 06:15 GMT - has so far targeted areas linked to the Tehran's leadership, with US President Donald Trump calling on the Iranian people to revolt against the government.
In Israel, air raid sirens sounded nationwide after the Israel Defense Forces stated it had identified an barrage of missiles from Iran.
The defence ministry of the United Arab Emirates announced that the nation has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"Emirati air defenses responded to the projectiles with great effectiveness and shot down a several projectiles," it added.
The statement noted missile fragments fell on a residential area in Abu Dhabi, resulting in some property damage and killing a civilian.
