Liverpool's Star Extends Regret to Squad, Says Curtis Jones
Jones has disclosed that the Egyptian forward apologised to the team in the wake of the uproar from his recent interview.

Salah was left out from a European match after making accusations and suggesting his connection to the head coach had soured.
âMo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,â Jones told Sky Sports. âHis apology was clear and was like: âShould anyone feel slighted, I'm sorry.ââ
The head coach has chosen not to reveal on whether he was apologised to from the veteran striker.
Looking Ahead
Jones insisted that the squad's reaction remained positive. âHe was his usual self, he was smiling and it was business as usual,â he continued.
The midfielder also noted that a competitor wanting to play is less of an issue. âI understand there are specific approaches you can handle situations,â he said. âYet, should someone be happy to just not start, then I think thatâs concerning.â
On-Field Response
The team's performance have remained strong in the matches since the interview fallout. The player is convinced the forward's comments were not intended to cause disruption.
âWhen thereâs been any sort of anger, itâs always been from a desire to win,â Jones concluded. âThat chapter is closed and weâre gelling well as a team, playing well and securing victories.â
